English

Welcome to my homepage

At this site you can read about who I am, where I live, about my job, where I go on holidays and much much more.

Here is an English summery. Links are to pages where you can see images - the texts on these sites are not translated, but I think you can understand it anyway.

If you don't like what you see and read, just surfe further and have a nice day.

Beneath follows a summery of the sites mentioned above.

Here I am (Her er jeg).

My values

I believe in a world of independent and democratic nations. The world is wonderful because of all the cultural diversity of the countries. I love countries with its own distinctive mark e.g. the language, identity, culture, traditions, history etc. It makes its fun to travel to other countries and discover, because they are different from my country. I don’t like a world which becomes more and more identical and alike, end up like one grey mass. If this happens I believe the world will be boring, unimportant, trivial and uninteresting.

Denmark is a unique society. Here is peace and there is not big different between rich and poor. Good luck for that! Denmark is such because we (still) are a homogeneous population who shares the same values about democracy, tolerance, equality between the sexes etc. I’m proud of my country and I believe in the Danish and the Scandinavian welfare model.

I seek the balance between the existing and the newcomer, between tradition and innovation. Politics have always interested me and my view is centre-right.

I’m born in 1962 in Hadsten at 3.55 a.m. I’m a Gemini. From 1963 I grew up in Thisted in the North West part of Denmark. You can see images from my early years here.

In 1972 we moved to a little farm just 5 mills outside the town. See images here.

Since 1988 I have lived in and around Copenhagen.

I have blue eyes and blonde hair. My ethnicity is white/Caucasian and my body type is slender. I’m a social drinker who doesn’t smoke, have no tattoos, are fit and eat varied. I'm down to earth and easy going. I have a girlfriend and together we have a daughter.

I’m a part minimalist. I prefer few things which in return must be of a very good quality. I love Danish design within furniture and architecture.

Qualifications

I believe that it is very important to be up to date within education. I therefore study a lot.

I have a Diploma Degree in analytical journalism at University of Southern Denmark 2008.

In 2006 I finished an AP Degree in Business Communication Management. This Degree qualifies me to work in Denmark as well as abroad, in analysing, planning and implementing communication functions in domestic and export markets.

I also study an AP Degree in Leadership & Management at Copenhagen Business College.

I have several courses in journalism from School of Journalism, from Danish Jurist and Economic Union, DJOEF, and from Danish Technological Institute (management/ leadership).

Spare time

I spend my spare time along with friends, travelling, in my garden or with studying.

I don’t watch much television, except from the news. I can do other things. My favourite foodball team is Broendby. I like to see them play and wind, but in fact I don’t have much time to that anymore.

I’m fascinated of the mysteries of where the Vineland was situated in the new world, and why the 'Norses' in Greenland vanished. Vineland was discovered by the Vikings about 1000 A.D. and was properly situated in Nova Scotia or Newfoundland, Canada. Later on the Norse vanishes from Greenland around 1500 A.D. Why and to where they moved (if the moved), nobody knows. My dream is to solve that clue one day - I have some theories to work with. Well, if you have some million $ too much, lets make an expedition and go out and find Vineland.

I live here (Her bor jeg)

Until 2010 I lived in a house in a small village (hamlet) called Ejby, which is situated in Glostrup about 12 km (7.5 mills) from downtown of Copenhagen.

I have just 100 metre to a little pond with ducks, 300 metre to the West Forest, 300 metre to fields where there are horses, and 500 meter to the summertown of Ejby, which is a town with a lot of weekend cottages and allotment gardens. Ejby seems to be a little oasis on the edge of Copenhagen and the countryside. In direction east there are built-up all the way to downtown of Copenhagen. In direction west there is the forest and the open countryside. You can see images of Ejby here.

You can see a little 3 minutes video film on YouTube about Ejby here.

If you know nothing about Copenhagen you can see a 9 minutes film on YouTube here.

My job (Mit job)

I work as a political and economic consultant for the Danish Peoples Party in the Parliament at Christiansborg, Copenhagen, Denmark. It’s a great job which allows me some influence on how the country is lead and gives me some contact to members of the government.

My job has to do with making law bills and writing questions to the ministers. I research and make notes.

I also assist in negotiations with the government together with members of the party. Sometimes in that connection I’m on the tv. See here.

Foreigners – what do I mean about them?

In general I have nothing against foreigners. I don't care about where people come from. Whether foreigner comes from other Scandinavian or European countries, from USA or South America, from Asia or India, from most Africa countries, means nothing to me. People from there rarely make problems and live well in Denmark. They just want to live a proper life, have a good job, earn there own money, be independent and don’t live of social welfare. So in fact, I don’t care about peoples skin colour. Whether people are black or white, blue or yellow, I don’t care.

But I believe there is a big problem with most of the immigrants from the Middle East. Many have come to Denmark applying for asylum mostly on a wrong and false basic, but now they unfortunately have got a permission to stay here. Especially the Muslims make a lot of problems. Their culture and behaviour is total opposite ours and they demand to live in my country in a medieval way and veiled their women, keep their women apart from other people and circumcise their small babies.

They believe more on the old Koran than on modern democratic values! Most of them are uneducated and live on social welfare. And I’m not alone with that opinion. To speak honestly, most people in Denmark and in Europe do mean the same as I do and just want to get rid of them. Of course there are exceptions: Speaker Farshad Kholgi, who are Iranian born and declaret non Muslim, is a good and fine man. And Nasser Kharder, Member of the Parliament, he is a soft Muslim.

Therefore, I don’t have a black and white view, but a varied view on that issue.

Holidays (Ferier)

Like everybody else I like travelling and I have been to many places.

The last years I have most been on holiday in cities.
